Users would be able to utilize their mobile devices or tablets to scan QR code which would lead to videos and online activities complementing each activity page that features a QR code. The user would be able to benefit from extended virtual learning and engage in positive use of technology without abandoning the novelty hands-on learning materials!

How to scan a QR code?

What You'll Need:
A smartphone or tablet with a camera
and/or A QR code scanning app (you can find them for free in your app store)

Step 1: Grab Your Device Hold your smartphone or tablet in your hand. Make sure the screen is clean and ready for action!

Step 2: Get Your QR Code Ready Find the page in your "Crazy About the Caribbean" SCAN-tiviy Book with the mystery QR code.

Step 3: Open Your Camera App or QR Code Scanner App On most phones you can scan a QR code by simply opening your camera app on your phone and pointing it at the QR code. If that doesn't work you can simply download a QR code scanner app. If you don't have a QR code scanner app yet, ask a grown-up to help you download one from the app store. Once it's ready, open the app.

Step 4: Point and Shoot! Now, this is the fun part! With your Camera App or QR code scanner app open, point your device's camera at the QR code. Make sure to hold it steady, and you might need to get a bit close.

Step 5: Wait for the Magic! As your camera focuses on the QR code, wait for the magic to happen. You might see a beep or a cool animation on your screen. That means you're doing it right!

Step 6: Explore the Answers! Once your device recognizes the QR code, it will take you to a special place video or online activity.
